Events
All events need to be set up in two locations: Eventbrite and on the Events page of this website. We also promote the event through emails set up in MailChimp.
Facebook Events
Through Eventbrite’s integration with Facebook, we simply need to click a button in Eventbrite to create an event on our Facebook page. This Facebook event allows people to purchase tickets within Facebook and even supports promo codes that members use to receive their discount.
Event Content Requirements:
All events need the following content:
A short title
A 1-2 sentence lead-in statement
A description
The description should include details of what will happen during the event, any salient information about the significance of the program, the names and titles of any guides and speakers, start and end times location and any specific notes on transportation and parking and specific entrances if it’s after hours.
1-3 photos or a link for the Marketing Team member to download images.
