About the Program
Join us for our fifth year! This locally-based mentorship program seeks to connect emerging and experienced professionals to foster a more equitable entry to the museum and arts and cultural field by building a network of support and encouraging sustainability in our jobs. The program will feature:
- A 6-month mentorship relationship from January 2025 to June 2025.
- A personalized pairing based on career interests and mentorship goals
- An EMP Committee Coordinator to oversee the mentor/mentee relationship
- Opportunities and recommendations to build your network and workshop-specific, career-related skills
- A sense of support and community with like-minded people in the local museum field
* Admittance to the EMP Mentorship Program is only open to individual and institutional members of the Museum Council of Greater Philadelphia.
* While we do our best to pair everyone who applies, application to the program does not guarantee a placement in a mentor/mentee relationship.
* You are welcome to apply as a mentor, mentee, or both.
