Meet Caroline Phelps At-Large Member

Meet Caroline our newest At-Large Member! Where do you work? What is your job title and what do you do?

I'm the Manager of Membership at the Independence Seaport Museum. I run our membership programs for individuals and families, community organizations, and corporate memberships.

What have you read lately?

I'm a huge fan of fiction, and recently read "The Celebrants" by Steven Rowley. It's beautiful, sweet, sad, and funny. Another favorite I read this summer was "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow" by Gabrielle Zevin.

Why did you join the Museum Council?

I joined when I graduated college to connect with local museum professionals and participate in the Emerging Museum Professionals committee. It's been a wonderful resource over the years, and I love all the connections I've made through the Museum Council. I'm looking forward to being more involved as a board member.

What are you excited about right now?

I'm excited about soaking up the end of summer with beach days, time outside, and summer produce before autumn, my favorite time of year!
