Join the Michener Art Museum Department of Public Engagement for a look back at a year of virtual programming!
About this Event
The pandemic made us rethink how best to present our collection and exhibitions to the public in a quarantined world. Hear how being flexible and having a sense of humor are essential as we share tips on how to avoid some common pitfalls. What types of programs worked for our community, and what did not? How does one attach a mobile phone to an ironing board to record art-making instruction? What were the unexpected benefits of pivoting to virtual? What are our ideas for future virtual programs? How will virtual programs integrate with in-person programming in a post-pandemic future? Join us to share your experiences and your questions!
